Bolsover, ancient home of Erasipteron bolsoveri, (the magnificent dragonfly of our local Carboniferous coal swamps), was perhaps not quite expecting the marvels that were revealed in the library on a warm Wednesday afternoon one summer

ready and waiting but what myth might unfold?

loitering, 

building dens and 

having wild parties among the bookshelves....
